Partisan Prague is a social football club for (mostly) non-Czechs living in Prague. We train once a week and compete in two 11-a-side leagues: the official amateur Prague league (division I.B třída skupina B – Praha), with matches taking place every weekend from August to November and March to May; and the not-so-official-but-equally-exciting Prague International Biweekly Football Amateur League (aka PIBFAL) with two or more matches per month, usually during the weekends but also on Monday evenings. We’re all at various stages of unfitness and we range widely in age. We like football, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. We hope everyone is up for a few beers occasionally after practice and matches. If you want to be considered for the 11-a-side teams, you have to show your face at practice regularly.
